Ideal Electric was incredible! I lost power in my house and Tony gave a free quote, which was very acceptable! He had a crew out at the house and done before the sun went down!

This review is long overdue.  Last January 2013, our main circuit breaker panel exploded.  Luckily my husband was home and it didn't start a fire.  Needless to say, we had to find an electrician that could come out same-day.  Tony was recommended to us and he was able to come out within a couple of hours.  He immediately understood the problem, got to work with this team, and coordinated with PG&E.  The entire main panel had to be replaced and it took about a couple of  weeks.  Tony was able to recommend a general contractor to help with the stucco work and they did a great job too.  Tony kept us posted on progress and worked with the City Inspector to get the final permit signed off.  His pricing was very reasonable and we were extremely pleased with the final result.  In fact, after chatting with Tony about electrical and lighting issues in our kitchen, he made some great suggestions.  So, we had his crew fix the other electrical issues in our kitchen and install LED canister lights in our kitchen, dining room, and family room.

Fast forward to January 2014, we called Tony again about lighting in our pantry and backyard.  Again, Tony gave some great suggestions and we ended up having his team install lighting, plus a power outlet in our pantry, and extra lighting in our backyard.  All the work was done in a few hours.

He and his team are professional, courteous, and committed to getting the job done right!

Hugo of Ideal Electric was great to work with. I contacted Hugo via the Yelp app and was able to get a response. Despite his busy schedule, he was able to help us with our nonurgent electrical issue. I definitely recommend Ideal Electric as they are professional and they are here to help their customers with the best electric service possible. They have fair rates, but their service is priceless.

Recently bought new lights but had no clue how to install them. I heard about Ideal Electric through a friend and decided to give them a shot. I called and set up a walk through of my place to get a quote for the work. Carlos showed up and walked through and gave me thorough breakdown of what I needed and gave me price estimate that was within my budget. He was back within a couple of days and left everything better than what I had ever expected and even managed to keep it under my budget. I know nothing about electrical work but I'm confident I didn't get overcharged for the work I received. I'll be referring these guys to all of my friends. Thank you Carlos.

Two power outlets in my house short-circuited and I had no idea how to fix it. I've never called an electrician before so I hopped on Yelp to look for a local electrician. Ideal Electric was one of the top companies in the search and I decided to call them because of all their positive reviews. I gave them a call and they responded within 30min which I appreciated. I spoke to Hugo and explained to him what was going on. He was very honest about what the issue might be and wanted me to test out a few things before they came out for the job. His troubleshooting solved my issue and I didn't have to spend $$$ on something minor.
